I haven’t done an Amazon item of the day in quite awhile so I thought I would let you guys in on my next stethoscope I’m going to get.  I currently have the Littman Master Classic II because I like the efficiency of not having to rotate the head to go from bell to diaphragm and, well, I’m cheap!  What I don’t like is that it is getting harder to distinguish sounds with my aging ears.  My next one will be the Littman Master Cardiology model for sure.  I like the slim profile of the head, the matte black finish is killer, and the tubing is 27 inches long.  This is similar to my current one but has much better construction and sound quality.  What’s cool about littman is that if you purchase new there is an app you can download to practice auscultation skills (great for students).
